Divemaster :
This is the first step on the PADI “Pro Ladder”. In this course
you will learn how to organise and conduct diving activities in
a professional and safe manner, how to assist a PADI Instructor
when teaching students, how to conduct Snorkel Safari’s, and
lots more. This demanding course is not just very rewarding,
it’s also fun ! You will expand your diving knowledge and skills
through self study, through knowledge development and practical
training sessions. You will be assessed all throughout the
course by your instructors. Your knowledge will be tested
through several exams ! It takes commitment and maturity to
succesfully complete this course !
Internship : During 4 to 6 weeks you will be a member of our
team and work alongside one of our Instructors. You will gain
already lots of “hands on” experience when we show you all the
different aspects of working in a dive centre ! You will learn
to lead dives, assist the Instructor when conducting courses,
etc. Also you will spend some days in the classroom yourself,
listening to presentations for your course, studying to get
ready for your exams, etc. It will be 4 – 6 weeks of hard work
but when finished succesfully, you will be a very good
Divemaster, ready to go out into the world and work in any dive
centre !
The price for a complete Internship depends on your current
level of diver certification. To enroll in the Divemaster
course, you need to be a Rescue Diver or Master Scuba Diver
minimum. However, you can start your Internship with us from any

Dive Build Up packs
:
These packs are only available to students taking part in one of
our Professional courses. The purpose of this pack is to get the
chance to build up your dive numbers and experience and that way
gain more confidence in the water. At the same time you can
enjoy our fantastic dive sites !! The Dive Build Up pack can be
used before or after a professional course, and you can do as
many Dive Build Up packs as you want/need. Each pack includes 6
days diving of 3 dives per day, PLUS one free Specialty course
(manual and cert not included) !!!! Price : € 200,=
Assistant Instructor :
For those who already did their Divemaster course and who would
like to make the step to Instructor, the Assistant Instructor
course is the next step ! In this course you will learn to give
presentations (in water as well as in the classroom) exactly
according to PADI Standards. The course takes 3 to 4 days and
can be done as a stand-alone program or as part of the IDC.

fees)
Open Water Scuba Instructor :
To become an Instructor, an OWSI, you will have to attend to an
IDC (Instructor Development Course). During an IDC you will
learn all about the PADI system and improve your teaching skills
(that you already learned in the Assistant Instructor course !).
At Dive Academy we run several IDC’s in a year. Our Course
Director is Ian Edley. Ian is a fantastic CD who is well known
for his great teaching skills combined with a large dose of
humor. He will make sure that, by the end of the IDC you are
well prepared for the IE (Instructor Examination). All our IDC’s
are normally followed by an IE. This course takes about a week.
The exams are normally done over 2 days.

Emergency First Response Instructor:
When you are a Divemaster or Instructor, you can enroll in the
EFR Instructor course. In this course you will learn how to
conduct EFR courses. It is a course of about 2 days and normally
is a guarantee for … lots and lots of fun !! But … also lots of
learning ! You will find this course to be a great assett to
your professional diving career !
Price : € 250,= (not including required course material and PADI
fees !)
