Dive Academy Santa Pola is a
PADI 5 STAR IDC
centre. We can do all PADI courses for you, from Discover Scuba
Diving up to Instructor. All our courses are conducted by
qualified PADI Instructors with lots of experience. So … you
will be in safe hands with us !!! After succesfully completing
your course, you will receive the official PADI certification.
And, since PADI is the world’s largest dive organisation, your
brand new certificate will be recognised all over the world, in
every dive centre !!
For everybody who wants to try diving, or just wants a fantastic
holiday excursion, we can offer the
DISCOVER SCUBA DIVING
program. It only takes us half a day to take you from “Mr. Bean”
to “Jacques Cousteau” !! You start your “discovery” by watching
a video to learn a few basic principles. After this we take you
into the shallow part of the sea to practise. No sooner than
when you feel comfortable we will take you into the deeper area
of the sea for a fantastic dive !! If you want, you can book
this course with 2 dives, instead of just 1. For the 2nd dive we
take you to an even nicer and bit deeper dive site for another
fantastic dive !! This is not a certification course, it is only
a one day experience, a Discover Scuba Diving …
For those who decide that they want to become a certified diver,
there is the
SCUBA DIVER
course. This course is conducted over 2 to 3 days and is the
most basic dive certificate. In these 2 (or 3) days you watch a
video/dvd, get some lectures, do 3 confined water sessions and 2
open water dives. After succesfully completing this course you
will be qualified to dive to a depth of maximum 12 meters and
always under supervision of a PADI Instructor !!
If you want a bit more then just the basic certificate, you can
do a
OPEN WATER
course(either after doing the Scuba Diver course or as your
first course !!). This course takes 4 to 5 days. The course also
consists of watching video/dvd, a few lectures, 5 confined water
sessions and 4 open water dives. With this certificate you will
be qualified to dive any where in the world, with a buddy, to a
maximum depth of 18 meters.
For those who want to “expand” their diving experience and
knowledge after completing the Open Water course, we offer the
ADVANCED OPEN WATER
course. This course is conducted over 3 days and consists of 5
different specialty dives, like for example deep diving
(obligatory), navigation diving (obligatory), underwater
naturalist, underwater photography, peak performance bouyancy
and lots of other specialty dives you can choose from. With all
these different specialty dives you will gain a lot more
knowledge and experience on diving !! Obviously you will receive
your Advanced Open Water certificate after succesfully
completing this course !
If, after your Advanced Open Water course, you still want to
learn more about diving, you can do the
RESCUE DIVER
course. In this course you will learn about self rescue,
recognising stress in divers, missing divers, and lots more.
After this course you will be a more confident and more
experienced diver !! The Rescue Diver course takes about 5 days.
When you completed your Rescue Diver course and would like to
continue your education, however, you don’t want to enroll in
one of the professional courses (like Divemaster), then the
Master Scuba Diver certification will be a real challenge for
you !!
As a Rescue Diver you can enroll in the Master Scuba Diver
challenge !! You do 5 specialty courses, of your own choice, and
after completion you can apply to PADI for your Master Scuba
Diver title. The highest qualification in recreational diving !
For all divers and non-divers we offer the
EMERGENCY FIRST RESPONSE
course. This course in first aid will teach you the very modern
first aid techniques for any accident or CPR situation, not just
diving accidents ! Everybody can (and should !!) do this course,
even the non-divers. The certificate you receive after
succesfully completing this course, is a worldwide recognised
certificate !!
For those who want to take their diving to an even higher level,
there are the
DIVEMASTER
course,
ASSISTANT INSTRUCTOR
course and
INSTRUCTOR
course. With these certificates you become a PADI diving
professional and will be qualified to work in a dive centre !!
